Vibrant Horticulture Space Everyone’s Growing to Love
Our stodgy, old building, built at the turn of the last century, was in dire need of a makeover. The rebranded space came to life with clever key messages and larger-than-life photography. We also created a fun and engaging marketing display, along with interactive kiosks that let students explore various areas of study within the department.
A central hallway display case marries a fine arts style installation with a functional representation of photosynthesis—which is near and dear to plant lovers. Another hall features various materials used in horticulture that spell out the word “grow.”
What perceptions were you looking to change?
Our building was dated and needed to portray the excitement and vitality of horticulture. The new space features the excitement of planting, growing, and bringing food, materials, comfort, and beauty to the world.
How did people respond to the new makeover?
Thanks to authentic imagery that puts you into the action, visitors and students now have a better understanding of what it is to be a part of horticulture studies. Now, when you walk through our doors you’re immersed in what horticulture is all about with eye-catching design and messaging that makes you stop and engage.
